Blackboard LMS 101

The Blackboard 101 Skills Badge includes basic Blackboard LMS skills for navigation, content creation, communication, and attendance tools.

Blackboard LMS 201

Blackboard LMS 201 Skills Badge includes the use of the Assignment tool to create two types of Assignment boxes. Faculty will learn to create an assignment submission, grade the assignment submitted by students and use inline mark-up for feedback to students.

Blackboard LMS 301

The Blackboard LMS 301 Skills Badge includes the creation of the Discussion Board and the proper linking of the Discussion Board to the Content area on which the Discussion Board is attached.

Blackboard LMS 401

The Blackboard LMS 401 Skills Badge includes the creation of a test or exam. Faculty will learn to create an exam page, populate the exam with different types of questions such as: True or False, Multiple Choice, Matching, and other objective and essay type questions.

Blackboard LMS 501

The Blackboard LMS 501 Skills Badge includes the creation of Percent Weighted Grade system in the Grade Center. Faculty will learn to create columns and populate them with the Grades and Categories headings/ Faculty will learn to link the columns to categories for the grade calculation and creation of percent weighted total column.

Types of Online Courses

Students registered in online courses can access them anytime and anywhere through the internet. Using the Blackboard Learning Course Management System (CMS), students log in to access their courses, interact with their instructors, take tests, write papers, complete assignments and participate in discussions.
