Multiple Attempts The number of submissions and the ability to re-submit an assignment is controlled by the Instructor of a class. If the assignment is set to allow re-submissions, then when you go back to the assignment, a button will appear near the bottom of the screen labeled "Start New Submission."
You are allowed three resubmission attempts where the Similarity Report will generate immediately. After three attempts, you'll have to wait 24 hours before a new Similarity Report can be generated.
Contact your instructor to ask for the opportunity to resubmit the assignment. If you may make another attempt, select the assignment link in your course. Start New appears on the Review Submission History page.
The submission attempt cannot be retrieved or recovered after it has been deleted. You may want to download and retain a local copy of the assignment submission before deleting it from the Grade Centre.Jul 17, 2018
The answer is, yes, your instructor will be able to view your past submissions. From the student side, you are only able to see the most recent submission for any given assignment.Dec 1, 2017
The submission is a resubmission: After three attempts, a 24-hour wait is enforced to generate Similarity Reports for all subsequent resubmissions. Therefore, Similarity Reports for a fourth resubmission and onwards will take 24 hours to generate.Apr 7, 2020
How do I edit or resubmit an assignment? You can't edit a submitted assignment, but you may be allowed to resubmit it.

Under Membership, click Browse Then find the student(s) you wish to give access to the test again. Click Submit when finished to add that student to the adaptive release. Click Submit on the adaptive release screen to complete the adaptive release process.
From the pull down menu select View Grade Details. 4. On the screen that appears, find the submission near the bottom of the screen. To the right of the entry, click the button labeled Clear Attempt.
Hover over the cell and click on the contextual menu on the right side of the cell. Then select the View Grade Details from the drop-down menu. On the following page, click on the Clear Attempt button or Allow Additional Attempt. Clearing the attempt will completely remove the student's first attempt.
