Grades inside a course

In a course, you can access your Course Grades page on the navigation bar. Select the Gradebook icon to view the grades that your instructor posted.

New grade alerts

When grades are posted, you'll find them in your activity stream. Select View your grade to display your grade.

Grades and feedback

If your instructor needs to grade questions in your assessment, Not graded appears in the Grading section.

Grade pills

Your instructor determines how to display your grade for each graded item:

View a feedback recording

Your instructor can leave a video or audio recording for additional feedback on your assessment grade. Recordings appear in the Feedback panel when your instructor assigns a grade for each submission.

Overall grade

The overall grade helps you keep track of how you're doing in each of your courses. You can see if you're on track for the grade you want or if you need to improve.

LTI Tool Integration

Your RedShelf representative will send you a document detailing how to complete the LTI tool integration.

Once your RedShelf rep has the Key, Secret and Launch URL information, the LTI tool can be built.

Create a test student with a test email account. The student must have an email address. This is what RedShelf uses as the student's identifier.

Creating A Placement

  • Next, create a placement for this LTI tool in a course. 1. In Building Blocks >> LTI Tool Providers, select the LTI tool and select Manage Placements 2. Select Create Placement. 3. Adopting The Tool in The Course

  1. Navigate to your course.
  2. On the upper right hand of the course, ensure that Edit Mode is On. Note that not all versions of Blackboard require this step.
  3. On the left-hand menu, select Content.
  4. At the top of the Content screen, find the Build Contentdrop-down menu.
