Blackboard. Solution Description: An interactive online learning management system for posting course-related materials, managing student assignments and grades, and facilitating interactions between students and instructors.
Blackboard can be accessed at elearning.tamiu.edu. Uconnect is your home base for all faculty and staff information and can be accessed at uconnect.tamiu.edu. In order to log into both resources, log in with your TAMIU NetID and password. Note: If you are a student employee, you will likely need to access Uconnect with your student credentials.

Blackboard Learn is the NCCC web-based course management portal. Faculty may choose to use Blackboard Learn to supplement on-campus instruction and some online courses are run through the Blackboard Learn course management portal.
If you need assistance logging into Blackboard Learn you many contact OIT Help Desk at 716-210-2505 or by D102 in the Learning Commons. The login credentials for your NCCC email account are also used to log into your Blackboard Learn account.

All courses are entered in Blackboard, but instructors need to activate the course before students can access it. Online courses typically open one week before the start of the course start date. Other courses will be accessible as soon as the instructor opens the course, which may occur one week before the start date to the actual start date.
To log in to Blackboard, go to fitnyc.edu.open.suny.edu in your web browser. (DO NOT add “www” to the address.)
