What is Oberlin Workshop and Learning Sessions?

http://new.oberlin.edu/office/clear/for-students/#N#The Oberlin Workshop and Learning Sessions (OWLS) program is based on the supplemental instruction (SI) model. Sessions are held to complement course lectures and are facilitated by a student—i.e., an OWLS leader—who has taken the course previously and attends class alongside the current students. OWLS is not a replacement for one-on-one tutoring or professor office hours, but it does offer a fun and free method that positively impacts student learning. For information on what courses are supported by OWLS in the current semester, please see the Center for Learning, Education, and Research in the Sciences (CLEAR) website.
