If you are new to Blackboard Collaborate, we would recommend logging in 30 minutes or one hour before the chat begins to allow you time to set up your computer and make sure everything works. Webcam and headset, or microphone are optional, but plug them in and test to make sure they are functional.
That ID is what authenticates you as a moderator. The other reason you might not have Moderator rights is that your Session Administrator did not put you in the session as a moderator.

Hypothesis is a social annotation tool installed directly in Blackboard. Adding Hypothesis to readings in Blackboard supports student success by placing active discussion right on top of course readings, enabling students and teachers to add comments and start conversations in the margins of texts.
