Blackboard learning management system at Eastern Kentucky University is a resource provided for all students and instructors as a tool to enhance learning. A Blackboard site is made for every class at EKU with instructors and students automatically enrolled.
How do I get my student ID number? Once you are admitted to EKU, you will receive an acceptance letter. This letter will include your student ID number and information on EKUDirect.
Once a decision is made, implementation and migration will take place throughout the 2017 and 2018 calendar years. Currently, vendors under consideration include Blackboard SaaS, Instructure Canvas, and Desire2Learn Brightspace.

Students can ONLY register using the EKU Student Web. Access online registration by clicking on the EKU homepage (www.eku.edu), At the EKU homepage (www.eku.edu) click on "Login to EKU" on the right hand side of the screen, then click on myEKU. Students must have a Registration Access Code (RAC) to register.
Official transcripts can be requested through the Registrar's Office. Information about requesting transcripts is available on the Registrar's web page at registrar.eku.edu/transcripts or contact the Registrar's Office at 859-622-2320.

Class drops/withdrawals are available via myEKU only during the first 4 weeks of the semester. Go online to myEKU, Register for Classes link, and select "drop by web" or "withdraw by web". Students are welcome to perform this activity at the Registration Center where there is staff available to help.
