Common reasons for links not working You may need to wait a while to see if this is the case. The url may have had spaces or foreign characters in it, and Blackboard Learn is not accepting it. The instructor may have forgotten to set up the link to open in a new window (for library links).
Make sure that cookies from third parties are allowed. Third party cookies are allowed by default on all supported browsers. If you experience problems staying logged in to Blackboard, please check your browser settings to make sure you allow third party cookies.

The problem occurs when you are using Safari on a Mac computer. You are able to login to myCommNet but when you click the link to Blackboard it requires an additional login. This is usually due to the browser not accepting cookies. You could workaround this by using a different browser such as Chrome.
