While it is possible to upload . mp4, . mov, and narrated . ppt files into Blackboard (Bb), these file types tend to be very large, which quickly uses up the finite amount of available Bb course data and can cause time lags and download issues for students.

Blackboard has recently disabled the ability to copy and paste images in the Content Editor. This change is due to performance / accessibility issues caused by the paste process. NOTE: Users can still copy / paste text into the Content Editor as before; this change only affects pasted images.

Until the feature is turned off completely, users may be able to cut and paste smaller images, but they could not tell us at what size the paste will error.
