Raises are only offered on a company wide level. If you get promoted to trainer you will still be making the same amount hourly (sometimes less) as the people you are training which is ridiculous considering what is expected of you. You can get auto fails for something that was never explained to you or something that was perfectly fine for you to do a few days prior. Blackboard is really good at informing employees of things they can't tell students but not good at giving alternatives. Which can lead to getting cussed out A LOT and a lot of confusion. There are only a couple supervisors that are genuinely helpful, most have a serious superiority problem where they are talking down on you for asking questions. You will definitely see this in the VCCS department. When Blackboard moved to working from home, it was probably the biggest downfall I have ever seen with a company. There was absolutely NO support.
