Blackboards Inc. was a cool place to work when we were in the office. The managers were cool and always very helpful. The CSRs were pretty cool too. The quarterly luncheons were nice. I liked those. And being recognized for your hard work is amazing too.
Good work environment, managers are strong and respectful. Workload was steady. However, the week long pager duty rotations are to say the least, more brutal than any company Im aware of. 30 pages (avg) a week at all hours of the night. Aside from that it was OK, not a favorite place to work at however.
The company is very productive and have fun environment to work with. Learn a lot while working with the very friendly team. Looking forward to the same work environment.
Opportunities to advance in the knowledge of how each institution facilitated daily with financial aid, enrollment, and overall school functions. Comfortable environment.
The functional area in which I was employed operated well below best practice benchmarks. This condition alone is not the root cause for most employees dissatisfaction.
Management is great easy going and easy to talk to. Communicate well across all teams
Good work life balance. Fun company culture. The company is growing. Leadership has vision and is constantly striving to improve product and services.
