How does collaborative work?

Collaborate dynamically adjusts to sending and receiving connection bandwidth changes in the quality of your internet connection. As your connection improves or degrades, the bandwidth use for video is adjusted up and down.

What does the loss row on a video stream mean?

Video loss generally isn’t important, but audio loss is. The Loss (Audio) row indicates the percentage of audio data lost on the up and down link. These are the thresholds Collaborate uses to determine the attendee’s experience:

Disable resource manager

There are two circumstances under which you might want to delete the resource governor:

In a production environment, wait for all sessions that are using low-priority connections to complete before attempting to uninstall the Resource Governor. Alternatively, kill the sessions. If this is not done, the drop will fail.

Remove the Resource Governor

The uninstaller does not remove the Resource Governors. This is an issue which will be addressed in future service packs.

As the higher ups retire, new ones come through with a different view. This one has shown up and feels that the firewall is too expensive, the backup system is too expensive, me showing up and doing what I do, is too expensive.

Cisco Wireless alternatives

Hello all, I work for a decent sized school district with around 20 buildings and ~7000 students with ~2000 of those at our high school. We are a full Cisco shop so Cisco switches, routers, WLCs, APs all that fun stuff. It seems like Cisco is going down the subscription route and I think that will kill our budget even with e-rate.
