The colors map to these percentages: > 90% = green. 89–80% = yellow/green. 79–70% = yellow. 69–60% = orange.
Change icon image The icon images in the Blackboard app are customizable. You can select an image from our library or upload your own. Uploading your own image adds an additional layer of customization to your app and helps incorporate your brand. Select any icon to edit the image.
Assignments you have submitted for a grade but have not yet been graded will appear below with a yellow exclamation point. Upcoming items will appear at the bottom of the page. Pie icons mean you have attempted an assignment or saved it as a draft but have not yet submitted the assignment for grading.
Completed: If students have submitted an item for a column marked Complete/Incomplete, a checkmark will appear for that student.Jan 10, 2019
Override grades are grades you assign manually, for example, if you type in the grade pill in the gradebook. An override label appears next to the grade. In the grade pill, you can type a numeric value of no more than five digits.

When a Blackboard test or survey is shown as 'In Progress', this may simply indicate that the student started the test and never pressed Submit. However it may be the result of a technical issue not of the student's making.Jul 17, 2018
Entering Grades To enter or change a grade, click on the box and type in the grade. Each box has a little menu on the right hand side, which you can use to see detailed history of the grade. A little orange triangle indicates that grade has been changed.
Page actions The asterisk next to a student's course grade means that there are items in the gradebook, that are included in the course grade, where grades have not yet been entered. It helps instructors know that their final grades are not yet complete because there are empty cells in the Gradebook.Oct 2, 2019
