The lowest possible grade is usually equal to a 0.0 on any scale and most times correlates to an "F" or the failing grade for the course. The scale coverts linearly from the 0.0 to 4.0 with your grade whether you are on a number or letter grading system for the class.
Now, the instructor will calculate your total percentage, by dividing your total weighted points earned by total weighted points possible: 100 ÷ 106 = 0.94 (rounded to two decimal places). In grade percentages, that's a 94% for an “A.” Great job!
It means a student's work is in but not yet graded. It does not mean an assignment is missing; just the opposite. THe Dropped designation will go away once the grade is entered, in a few weeks. Hope this helps.

If you are dropping the lowest grade of a series of, for example, quizzes, all of the quizzes must be assigned the same category.
If you have not already done so, create a Calculated Column (Total or Weighted Column)
NOTE: For a "Total" column, in the Select Column section, click the radio button for Selected Columns and Categories to expand the section.
