Cadet Ian Huggins is from St. Petersburg, FL , and is currently studying Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University. Cadet Huggins has participated in the FAU Army ROTC program for three and a half years. Cadet Huggins came to FAU to play football under Lane Kiffin as a part of FAU’s most successful football team to date, winning 11 games and a Conference USA Championship. He is currently taking the role of managing supplies and communications for the program. During his tenure, he has been heavily involved in the program's success; his participation in events such as the Ranger Challenge Team, Push-Up Team, and recruiting events throughout South Florida have been instrumental in promoting the FAU Army ROTC program. Cadet Huggins joined the ROTC program to fulfill his lifelong dream and follow the legacy his family holds of military service. Cadet Huggins will commission on May 8, 2021, as an infantry officer.
