Navigate to the URL where you access Blackboard. On the login page, select Forgot Your Password? or Forgot Password? Type your first name, last name, and username. You need an active email address associated with your account to receive instructions.
To Find the Blackboard User ID: Blackboard uses the Web Advisor User ID and password. For help with the User Name or password, click the “Username and Password Help” link on the Blackboard login page. 2. This link will redirect to the Web Advisor User Account Menu.

Courses may not appear in the My Courses module in Blackboard for a few reasons: The instructor has not yet published the course for student view (most common reason). The student has not yet successfully registered and paid for the course. There may be an issue with the student's enrollment.
If a user doesn't successfully log in during this period, their account is locked. Provide the number of minutes a user's account remains locked. The default setting is 360 minutes. If you enter 0, accounts will remain permanently locked unless an administrator manually unlocks them.
You may reset your password by selecting the Change Password on the Self-Service page. You may also visit the site directly by typing mypassword.waketech.edu in the URL. On the next page, enter all of the required information. Then, click the Submit button.
Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Blackboard or Instructor > Storage > Clear Data. Uninstall the Blackboard app or Blackboard Instructor app. Restart device.
To show a hidden course, filter the list by Hidden from me > open a course's menu > select Show course.
It takes 24 hours for student courses to reflect in Blackboard. For your information, if you have registered for the course in the past day, please give the system 24 hours to add you into the Blackboard course.Jan 15, 2021
It may take as much as 72 hours for the Blackboard system to be updated from the registration information. If you recently registered in a course, please allow for the 72 hour period to end before contacting the BCTC Helpdesk.
