Edit, copy, or delete an announcement On the Course Announcements page, open an announcement's menu and select an option: Select Edit to change the title or message. You can also edit the scheduled time to post and turn the time on and off. Select Delete to permanently remove an announcement from your course.
Editing an Announcement The message contained within an announcement may be edited. After the announcement has been sent, it is not possible to recall or edit the copy of the message students will receive via email. The message can be edited within Canvas however.
New course announcements appear immediately when you enter a course. You need to close the New Course Announcements window before you can view course content. After you close the window, it won't appear again. If your instructor posts new announcements, the window appears again with the new announcements only.

Students can view Announcements in three ways: in Canvas using the Announcements tab; in Canvas pinned to the course homepage ; or as an email. Instructors can also let students reply to Announcements . Those replies are visible to all course participants.
You can change the order only for current announcements. The announcements are listed in the same order as on your students' Home page. Click and drag an announcement row to a different position in the list.

To Bulk Delete Announcements: Click on Packages and Utilities. Click on Bulk Delete. Click on the check box next to Announcements. Type the word, “Delete” in the box.

To Bulk Delete all or a part of the content of your course, login to Blackboard, enter the course with content to be removed. Click on Packages and Utilities in the Control Panel, then find Bulk Delete and click on it. Select the items to be removed.
