You and students can now access Course Reserves materials and place requests through this link. To access it, simply select “Course Reserves” in the left-hand navigation bar, then click on the link you created beside the icon of the bow and arrow.

The Reserve Collection is a special area of the library where faculty can place high demand items – typically required course readings – to ensure those items are highly accessible to students. Reserve items usually have a check out time of 2 hours and do not leave the library building.
The reserve price prevents a bidder who offers a price lower than what the owner will accept from winning the auction. The point at which the buyer and seller are no longer willing to negotiate is the walk-away point. The auction's starting price tends to start lower than the reserve price to encourage bidding.

Any items put on reserve are library materials that are in heavy demand. These are available at the library's Circulation Desk. Reserve items can be borrowed for 3 hours at a time. Most materials may be renewed once, for an additional 3 hours, if there are no additional requests.Mar 30, 2021
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is the process by which a library borrows material from, or supplies material to, another library.
The reserve collection in a library holds those resources which are needed by a group of people. As such, it would be unfeasible to allow those resources to leave the library or be checked out to any one individual.
