All email is sent by the Blackboard system as "blind carbon copy" (BCC). This means that one user who receives the email will not see the names or email addresses of other users who receive the same message.
A lock secures the folder itself (name and settings) from changes. Locking the folder and all its contents protects both the folder itself and the materials it contains. If a folder is locked, the user will be unable to edit items through the web folder, for example, copying an item directly into the web folder.

You can put any addresses you like in the “To” or “Cc” fields along with any you put in the “Bcc” field. Just remember that only the addresses in the “Bcc” field are hidden from recipients. You can also leave the “To” or “Cc” fields blank and just sent the message to the addresses in the “Bcc” field.Oct 3, 2017

User accounts are locked by multiple incorrect sign in attempts. You can set accounts to automatically unlock after the amount of time you set. From Site Manager select USERS & GROUPS.
