How to receive VA benefits?

In order to receive your VA educational benefits, you must complete the UF Enrollment Certification form. This form is available one month prior to the beginning of each term and will be processed in the order they are received. You must submit a new form every term you are utilizing your VA benefits. If you need to make changes to the form after submission, contact the Student Veteran Services office. Do NOT submit multiple forms for the same term.

What is a vets.gov?

VETS.GOV should be used if you are a U.S. military veteran, a service member on active duty, a member of the Selected Reserve, a spouse/dependent of a "service connected" disabled or deceased veteran, or a family member that has been approved to receive transferred benefits.

Who is eligible for a waiver of transcript fee?

1009.26 (17a), students who are an active duty member or an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces and their spouse and dependents are eligible for a waiver of the transcript fee.

Can you get out of state tuition waivers in Florida?

Out-of-state tuition and fee waivers shall be granted for honorably discharged veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, the U.S. Reserve Forces, or the National Guard who physically reside in the State of Florida while enrolled in the institution; for students who are using educational assistance provided by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs who physically reside in the State of Florida while enrolled in the institution; for students using educational assistance under Chapter 31, Veteran Readiness and Employment; and for active duty members of the Armed Forces of the United States residing or stationed outside of this state.
