Save an assignment as a draft and submit later On the Upload Assignment page, select Save Draft to save your work and continue later. Your text and files are saved on the page. When you return, you can resume working. Return to your assignment and select the assignment title.
On the Review Submission History page, you can view your grade, rubric scores, and overall feedback for the Assignment as well as any in-line comments your instructor may have included. Comment icons point out your instructor's comments throughout your paper.

When students receive grades on assignments they have submitted, Blackboard allows them to save their uploaded documents as Artifacts. The process is quite easy with the addition of the Save As Artifact link in the right pane of the Review Submission History page.
To download a PDF from Blackboard, use the save icon on the PDF (not in the web browser). Instructors may have added class slides to Blackboard in one of two ways: As a PowerPoint file which opens within Blackboard or within a new window. In this case, right-click and save the document from its link in Blackboard.

In the classroom, click the Tools link in the course menu and select My Grades to view your assignment grades. If there is feedback on your assignment, a blue speech-balloon icon will be to the left of the recorded grade.
Select the Point Annotation icon in the toolbar to type comments in any place on the document. Comments are identified by a blue conversation bubble. Click and drag to highlight text, then choose to highlight or highlight and add a comment.
