In the gradebook list view, press the Move icon in the row of the item you want to move. Drag the item to the new location and release. The order you choose also appears in the grid view and on students' Grades pages. You can't move items in the grid view at this time.
Locate the Weighted Total column in the Grade Center. Click the Action Link (drop-down arrow) in the column heading, then select Edit Column Information from the menu. If you do not have a Weighted Total column, create one by clicking Create Calculated Column > Weighted Total. Required: Fill in the column name.

Go to Ultra Course View page. In the Grade Center, the columns for students' first and last names appear first by default. Columns for gradable items and calculations of those items appear across the page.

Weighted Column calculates and displays a grade for a selected number of Columns based upon each column's respective worth of the total grade. Columns with text as the primary display cannot be displayed as a weighted grade.Feb 16, 2018
Weighted grades appear to benefit students in most cases. Weighted grading systems foster equity and encourage students to take the more challenging classes. There is no consistency among schools on how classes are waived, which classes may be waived, or how waived classes figure into a student's Grade Point Average.
The WEIGHTED TOTAL column enables instructors to set the weight (or value) of individual assignments and assignment categories independent of the number of points in an assignment. If you set every assignment to 100 points but count one assignment as 10% and another as 25%, this is the column for you.
