You can easily record a Session Blackboard Collaborate Ultra so that participants can review the Session at a later time or it can be viewed by someone who was unable to attend the Session.
Breakout sessions will not be recorded. If you start breakout sessions and all users leave the main room, the recording will stop, and the recording must be restarted after ending breakout sessions. Only those with moderator access can turn on recordings in sessions; those with participant or presenter session roles cannot.
Recordings can be found on the course Collaborate page. Therefore, navigate to this page by clicking the link to the Collaborate page that you created.
By default, only recent recordings appear on the Recordings page. To search for recordings that are not recent, (1) click on Filter by: Show Recent Recordings menu and select (2) Recordings in a Range
You will see a list of recordings. To see additional recordings, use the page buttons at the bottom to navigate between pages. To view a recording now, click on the recording name. To view additional options, click on the Options menu for the desired recording.
Access your group from the course menu (see image 1 below). Choose Collaborate then click Join Room (see image 2 below).
After your session is over, the recording will become available in about as much time as the length of the recording. It will be located on your group's Collaborate page.
In your Blackboard Course or Organization, in the Collaborate Ultra tool, click Menu ≡ and change to Recordings.
