You can start and stop the recording as many times as you want. You do not need to stop and start recording your session to prevent periods of inactivity from being recorded. Blackboard Collaborate automatically condenses periods of inactivity to optimize the recording length. For participants, a recording icon appears on the collaboration toolbar.
Recordings and breakout groups What is said or viewed in a breakout room isn't captured in recordings. Collaborate stops recording your session if all attendees leave the main room to join breakout groups. You can start your recording again from the Session Menu when one or more attendees return to the main room.

Delete recordings The Collaborate Scheduler is not available in the Blackboard Open LMS Collaborate activity module. From the Collaborate scheduler, select Recordings and find the recording you want. Open the Recording options and select Delete. Select the Yes, Delete It button to confirm.
