Before posting your question to a discussion board, check if anyone has asked it already and received a reply. Just as you wouldn’t repeat a topic of discussion right after it happened in real life, don’t do that in discussion boards either.
The Digital Instructor Designation is Mercy’s Certification in Online Teaching. The Designation demonstrates proficiency in multiple areas of online teaching and Blackboard. Full-time and adjunct faculty must apply to participate in the Digital Instructor Training. When approved by Department Chair (or Program Director) and Dean, faculty members are provided a course shell and must demonstrate mastery of BB100-300 Level courses. This normally requires 10 hours of training for those with only basic Blackboard experience.
If you hang up your phone without leaving the session, you are still connected to the session. Your phone is disconnected. If you are also in the session in your browser, you can still hear and speak over the internet.
Open the Collaborate panel and select My Settings. Select Session Settings and Allow users to join the session using a telephone.
If you close your browser, your phone is still connected. You can still hear the session and talk from your phone. You aren't able to chat or share anything without the session open in a browser. You are identified in the Attendees panel as phone only. This means other attendees can't chat privately with you.
