If you decide to continue recording a session after you have stopped, a new recording is saved and added to the list of recordings for that session. Open the Session menu and select Start Recording. The recording camera appears on with a red dot while recording is in progress.
Drag-and-drop the Attendees icon to the main stage. Open the Collaborate panel and select Attendees. Select More options at the top of the panel. Select Detach Panel.
Moderators supervise all private chats: When selected, moderators can see everything that is said in private chat channels. An alert appears at the top of the private chat channel informing users that the chat is being supervised. If you don't select it, you don't see the private chat channels.
250 attendeesCollaborate sessions support 250 attendees at a time. Administrators can turn on webinar mode to support large scale sessions of up to 500 attendees. If you invite more attendees than the session supports, not everybody invited will be able to join.
With your keyboard, press Alt + M to turn your microphone on and off. Press Alt + C to turn your camera on and off. The microphone is active after you turn it on, but you get to preview your video before others can see you. Your video will appear backwards to you.
Select the “Attendees” Icon from the Collaborate Panel to view the all of the participants in the session. Attendees have microphone and camera settings in the same location as your own (at the bottom of the screen).
Muted attendees see a notification telling them that the moderator has muted their microphone. Note: Attendees can turn their microphone back on after being muted.
Enter your course by clicking its name in the My Courses module. In the Control Panel, select Users and Groups, then Users. Your class roster will appear, listing all students, instructors, and teaching assistants.Jan 3, 2022
From the Collaborate Session open the Collaborate Panel by clicking on the purple icon in the bottom right corner. Click on the My Settings tab and give participants permission to Post Chat messages under Session Settings. Once participants have permission, they can begin chatting privately.Mar 19, 2020
Select a course card to view all new and existing messages in your course. You can delete messages inside of your course. Ready to share? If allowed by your institution, select the New Message icon in a course card to send a message to one person, multiple people, or a class.
