The default way for students to view their grades is through the My Grades link in the Course Tools content area. The Course Tools content area is NOT THE SAME as the Course Tools section of the Control Panel. All Blackboard courses have a Course Tools button in the Course Menu that leads to this content area by default.

To view grades for all of your courses, select the arrow next to your name in the upper-right corner. In the menu, select My Grades. You can sort your grades by All Courses or Last Graded. If your work hasn't been graded, grade status icons appear.
Select the test title on the Course Content page and the Details & Information panel opens. Select anywhere in the Grading section to review what you submitted, available correct answers, and your grade and feedback.

A once hidden feature in Blackboard is the “Show Statistics to students” setting. When this option is selected, students will then be able to see the assignment's average and median. This is an excellent opportunity for students to see how the class performed on an assignment or test.
To calculate a test grade, start by counting the number of questions that were answered correctly on the test. Then, divide that number by the total number of questions that were on the test. Finally, multiply the number you get by 100 to find out the test grade as a percentage.
The Blackboard Instructor app helps you easily identify courses where you need to grade student submissions. Instructors and graders can review, annotate, grade, and publish the grades to students.
The first block of information in the course overview is the Needs Attention section. This section shows assignments with submissions ready to grade or post. You can tap an item to start grading.

If you want to communicate final grades to students at the end of the term in Blackboard, do NOT post grades in a document (Word, Excel, PDF, etc.) in Blackboard. This practice contravenes the University FOIP policy.
