From the Attendees panel, find an attendee and select Attendee controls. Select Move to another group. This opens the Breakout groups panel. Move the attendee to another group. There are two ways you can do this. Select the attendee's options menu and select the group. Select the attendee and drag them to the new group. Select Update.
Moderators supervise all private chats: When selected, moderators can see everything that is said in private chat channels. An alert appears at the top of the private chat channel informing users that the chat is being supervised. If you don't select it, you don't see the private chat channels.

Breakout groups are used as a large group discussion technique designed to increase participation. During a large meeting or workshop, the facilitator may assign the group to work in smaller teams to answer a question or tackle a specific challenge.
Go to your Teams calendar and open the meeting invite. Go to Breakout rooms and select Create rooms. Choose the number of rooms you want (up to 50) and select Add rooms.
Collaborate's chat history only has 50 messages displayed at any given time. Scroll through the messages or use the hidden keyboard controls at the top of the Chat panel if you use a keyboard to navigate.
An important part of a classroom dynamic is the non-verbal communication. The look on someone's face, or hearing their tone, tells you a lot about how they are getting along in the class. Emojis bring that non-verbal communication to a virtual setting. Browse or search for the emoji that conveys exactly what you want to.

Navigation in Collaborate with the Ultra experience is simple and intuitive. Everything users need is available exactly when they need it. The interface dynamically adapts to all activity in the session, putting the focus on who is speaking and any content that is being shared.
Attendees. By default sessions can have up to 100-250 attendees depending on your license. Session attendees include moderators, presenters, and participants. If you expect more attendees in your session, turn on webinar mode.
Recordings also capture any real time captions or subtitles available during the session. If there are more than one captions available during the session, the recording will capture only the first one. Recordings also capture chat messages in the Everyone channel. More on recordings.
Moderators can choose student groupings or allow Collaborate to randomly group students for them. They can also choose to let attendees switch to another group, and even join a particular breakout group to help facilitate collaboration.
Session inactivity. If none of the attendees are active after 30 minutes, the session ends and attendees are removed. This is to prevent long periods of quiet and inactivity at the end of recordings. An active sessions includes these activities: An attendee is speaking with their microphone on. Chat messages.
Moderators and presenters can share their desktop or a software application to teach attendees about a particular topic. Whenever they move through the application or desktop, their students automatically follow along.
You can create up to 20 groups. Breakout groups is only available in sessions with 250 or fewer attendees. There is no limit to the number of attendees you can put in each group. However, we recommend spreading attendees out evenly over your groups.
After breakout groups are started you can move between groups to monitor them. If you assigned yourself to a group, you see and hear what others in the group are doing. This includes any shared content, audio, video, and chat.
Breakout groups are designed for group collaboration. Every attendee in the group is a presenter. This means that all group members can share the whiteboard, files, and applications with the rest of their group.
Moderators can move themselves between groups any time. Moderators must give you permission to move yourself to another group.
