Pages, Modules, and Files are new terms to most Blackboard users. Pages are similar to Content Items and Modules are similar to Content Areas or Unit/Week Folders in Blackboard. You will need to review the organization, naming conventions, and page content within the modules for any necessary alterations or deletions. For example, the left navigation menu links from Blackboard will import to Canvas as individual Modules. You should delete unnecessary modules, such as My Grades, Student Services, Course Tools, and Blackboard Student Orientation, and you will need to revise or relocate information from others, such as Start Here and Course Information. You should also review all content for any reference to Blackboard tools, resources, or support.
Imported quizzes may need to be edited and saved to work properly in Canvas even if you make no changes to the content.

Functionalities are what defines an application. However, it is not necessary that every system will have all of the features. Then again, you don’t need all of them. Every type of business has unique needs and so you need to identify your requirements first.
Moodle’s features list include reporting and analytics, personalized dashboards, data management, admin-based control, and more. It creates a private learning space for students. Besides, it allows sharing and uploading interactive courses on the system.
A sandbox is a "pretend course" for you to experiment with all of Canvas' features. To move content from iLearn to Blackboard, see the Knowledge Base article Importing Content from Blackboard to Canvas. As of Summer 2021, the system will create all courses in both iLearn and Canvas.
Canvas is far from perfect, but it is much better than Blackboard. Canvas is 1000% better than blackboard. All faculty should switch. UC Riverside has begun a formal transition from iLearn to Canvas/eLearn and will conclude by end of Spring 2022.
