Contextual Menus are expandable menus containing options for each item and are visually represented by two double arrows ("chevrons"). Contextual Menus are only displayed when Edit Mode - ON. Some contextual menus include sub-menus, so look for the double arrows!
The new content area is created at the bottom of the upper part of the left menu. You can drag it by the left edge to reposition if desired. Click on the new left menu link to enter the content area. Open a course area, such as a Content Area, Learning Module, or folder.
If you're accessing your course from a mobile device or tablet or from within a small browser window, Blackboard will collapse the sidebar by default.
