Kit Sawyer has been in her students’ shoes as both a former Friar and an actor on the stage at Bishop Lynch. Maybe that’s part of what makes her such an amazing teacher and fine arts department chair. Her commitment to performing arts and her unwavering dedication give students the confidence to shine on stage.
ANDY ZIHLMAN
Legendary. Historic. Inspiring. When Head Women’s Basketball Coach Andy Zihlman secured his 1,000 th career win at Bishop Lynch this fall, he cemented his place in the history books as one of the winningest coaches of all time. Coach Zihlman has mentored hundreds of Friar student-athletes over the course of his 42 years at BL.
MARIA RODRIGUEZ AND ANA OSBORNE
These two dynamo Spanish "profesoras" are giving BL students both impressive foreign language skills and a better appreciation for the culture and customs of other countries. Through their vibrant introductory and upper-level Spanish classes, Ms. Rodriguez and Mrs.
JERRY WALDON
Mr. Waldon positively impacts students in the classroom as an economics teacher, but he also exemplifies commitment to the Catholic faith. As BL’s Eucharistic ministry coordinator, Mr. Waldon works with staffulty and students to further the school’s mission of being faithful to Catholic tradition.
