When you choose to grade anonymously, student names and attempts are hidden. If you chose to use the first or last attempt for the grade, you can't view how many attempts students have submitted.
Blackboard Assignments SImply, anonymous marking is enabled by clicking on the Enable Anonymous Marking check box in the Grading Options section of a Blackboard Assignment. Set the date when Anonymous Marking will be turned off.

You can enable anonymous grading for assignments and tests that don't contain the built-in question types. You may add only text and files to anonymously graded assignments and tests. Student names are hidden while you grade and are revealed only after you post all grades.

Go to the Grade Center and use the drop-down menu next to the column header to choose "Show/Hide to Users". You should now see a circle with a slash through it in the column header for that item in the gradebook. Do not choose "Hide Column" because that hides it from yourself - not from students.
