The creative apps in Adobe Creative Cloud empower students and educators to develop powerful presentations, photography, illustrations, movies and videos, and web applications. Integrating Adobe Creative Cloud with Blackboard LMS provides students and educators with quick and easy access to their creative work. Students and educators can access their Creative Cloud apps within Blackboard and use them to create and complete their assignments.
As the institution’s or school district’s IT admin, you must integrate Blackboard with Adobe Creative Cloud for your educators and students to be able to access Adobe applications within Blackboard. Once the integration is done, the educators and students can easily find and access their Creative apps within their Blackboard courses.
It is a tool that faculty likes to use. It has so much flexibility to allow students to see a class even if they happen to not be available in the classroom.
The loading speed of the pages is more than satisfying, it all depends on the users internet package. So far, there wasn't any issue of Blackboard slowing down other software or systems when integrated with them
Blackboard collaborate, is very easy to use, in my opinion. However, I consider myself fairly computer and technologically literate. Some professors, students, and parents I know who try to use the software have a difficult time with it. Some suggestions for improvement--I think there should be an autostart tutorial for participants (and session leaders, if I'm being honest) with an checkbox option to "never see this again" if you find yourself to be an expert. It should cover the basics such as: the raise hand feature (or the other polling features), the chatbox feature, the whiteboard feature, and the mic/camera. This way, we don't have students freaking out when they enter the session and us having to calm them down every single time. It may make the program a little less "lightweight" which I know is what you're going for--but it makes the workflow more challenging for those of us actually using the software regularly.
As sophisticated a product as Adobe Connect, the ease of use is outstanding. In my experience, even a user with very little knowledge of Adobe Connect can begin using and even leading sessions with very little training to get started with the basic features. Additional training is needed to become comfortable with the number of available features, but learning curve even for those is no steeper than would normally be expected from similar software.
If you're looking for just a basic meeting tool, there are cheaper ones (like Zoom) that will do the trick just fine.
The ability to customize your screen layouts. making each classroom unique.
For some add-ins the functionality was limited - had problem with the PowerPoint slideshow feature. It did not always display properly as you progressed in slides.
The longer you use Adobe Connect, the longer you are likely to use it. Because you can build more and more resources over time, creating rooms that you re-use, recorded content you can repurpose, and tools that form the basis of ever increasing productivity, the more you use Connect, the more productive you become.

The ability to have most of the functionality of a full LMS at a fraction of the cost is huge. I can create manage and deploy both synchronous and asynchronous training based on the situation and all of my training is tracked through a series of easily created reports
Prices do not seem to vary much among resellers of the Adobe Connect hosted license; the only price variation you're likely to find are among the audio providers. When implementing, you may also wish to look into expanding the amount of storage you are allowed on the server to avoid any problems later on as your library of files starts to build up
