Adaptive Release allows you to make Blackboard course content available to students only when they have fulfilled certain criteria. Basic Adaptive Release allows for a rule to be created based on limited criteria, while the advanced function allows for multiple rules to be used.

Exit and delete your preview user account Select Exit Preview to exit the student preview. If you leave the course and don't exit from student preview, when you return to the course, you'll be in student preview mode.
Navigate to Course Content in the app and select a test or assignment. You can see the assessment's details, such as due dates, the number of attempts allowed, and whether it's visible students. Tap Preview to see what students experience when they complete a test or assignment in the student app.
View student activity for an assessment Access Student Activity data from the Course Content page. Access an assessment's menu and select Student Activity. A panel with student activity information opens. You can't access Student Activity in an anonymously graded assessment's menu.
Adaptive Release allows you to control the release of content to students based on a rule or rules that you create.
Deleting Adaptive Release Rules for Content To delete Adaptive Release rules for a content item, hover over the item, and click the button that appears to the right of the item title. From the menu that appears on screen, select Adaptive Release: Advanced.Aug 15, 2018
To make a course unavailable, open the course's menu and select Make Unavailable.
