The official learning management system for Rutgers University–Newark, Blackboard (Bb) is available for all RU–N courses, including online, hybrid, and the more traditional face-to-face format. Most faculty will use Bb to share content, such as syllabi, readings, announcements, email, and even audio and video.

The service can be activated at netid.rutgers.edu by clicking on “Service Activation.” RBHS faculty, staff, and students are required to use the email address assigned by their department/unit/school as their Official Rutgers Email Address.
RUID Number (Also Known As the Student ID Number) is an identifier for all Rutgers University students, except for Rutgers Biomedical Health & Sciences (RBHS) students, whose numbers begin with the letter A. is a nine-digit number, using "00" in the 4th and 5th number positions.

Students are admitted to the Honors College only by direct invitation; there is no application process. Are sophomores invited to join Honors? Students who complete the first year at Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences with a 3.700 or better cumulative GPA are invited to apply for admission.
All Students, Faculty and Staff are automatically assigned a NetID. To activate your NetID please go to: http://netid.rutgers.edu and click NetID Activation. The NetID is used for many processes on campus, including registering for courses, using the student computing labs, and email.May 13, 2013

Students obtain the Student ID card at the Impact Booth in the Camden Campus Center, located directly across from the main entrance of the building on Penn Walk. Students must be actively registered and have completed payment before an ID card will be issued.
Lost or Stolen Cards You can do so by sending an email to [email protected] from your Rutgers email account. Please note that this action is permanent, and that you will have to pay the replacement fee to have a new RU ID card issued, even if you should later find your RU ID card.
Look up your RUID online (using your NetID and Password) at http://my.rutgers.edu/profile. Login to “MyRutgers” and your RUID number will be displayed on your page.
