(NASDAQ: BBBB) todayannounced it has entered into a definitive agreement under which Blackboard will be acquired by an investor group led byaffiliates of Providence Equity Partners (“Providence”) in an all-cash transactionvalued at approximately$1.64billion, plusthe assumption of approximately $130 million in net debt.
