Hi everyone! I accidently submitted a wrong assignment well before the due date on Blackboard and got a zero. I just emailed her the actual assignment.
Click on Assessments. On the drop-down list, click Assignment. On the Create Assignment page, enter a Name for your assignment. This is required. In the Instructions box, add the instructions for the assignment–if desired. This is optional. You can also browse and attach a file from your local computer if you wish.
On the Course Content page, select the plus sign wherever you want to add an assignment. In the menu, select Create to open the Create Item panel and select Assignment.The New Assignment page opens.. You can also expand or create a folder and add an assignment. When you create an assignment, a gradebook item is created automatically.

An exception includes additional attempts or extended access, even if the test is hidden from other students. Clear Attempt It is suggested you contact your Instructor via email in Blackboard (in the Instructor User Group). Explain you made a mistake and ask he/she to reset your attempts.

From the pull down menu select View Grade Details. 4. On the screen that appears, find the submission near the bottom of the screen. To the right of the entry, click the button labeled Clear Attempt.

Open the assignment. On the Upload Assignment page, review the instructions, due date, points possible, and download any files provided by your instructor. If your instructor has added a rubric for grading, you can view it. Select Write Submission to expand the area where you can type your submission.
When you grade assignments, you can see how much extra time each student used to complete the assignment. If you included questions, you can also see which questions were answered after the initial time limit. Students also see this same information when they access their graded assignments.
Press the Move icon in an assignment's row and move it to a new location. You can also move an assignment into a folder. In an assignment's row, open the menu to select the Edit and Delete functions. You can use your keyboard to move an assignment. Tab to an item's Move icon.
Add a time limit. A time limit can keep students on track and focused on the assignment because each person has a limited amount of time to submit. The assignment attempts are saved and submitted automatically when time is up. You can also allow students to work past the time limit.
To prevent confusion, don't add numbers to reference other questions within the assignment. You can only randomize answers for Matching and Multiple Choice questions. If you want to randomize answers for True/False questions, use the Multiple Choice question type with True and False answer choices.
Create an assignment. Assignments are always available to instructors in the Ultra Course View. You can create assignments alongside other content. Students can access their work next to the content they need, right when they need it. You can also create a group assignment and release it to one or more groups in your course.
You can change the assignment's grade category to be part of one of the custom gradebook categories you set up in your course. You can create new categories to customize how coursework is grouped in your course. Custom categories can be useful when you set up the overall grade. Determine the number of attempts.
If your browser allows , media files you add to assessments display inline by default. If your browser can't display a media file inline, it appears as an attachment. Files you add from cloud storage behave in the same way.
When special circumstances arise, you have two options to remedy submission issues. You can clear a test attempt or add an assessment exception.
If you choose, you can clear a student's test attempt. The submission is cleared from the gradebook and the student can retake the test.

To Remove a SafeAssignment, choose the Content Area in which the Assignment has been posted, click the drop-down menu to the right of the SafeAssignment name, and choose Delete. You will be asked to confirm the action.

You can't edit a submitted assignment, but you may be allowed to resubmit it. However, you can't resubmit all assignments. Check if you can submit an assignment more than once. If you can't and made a mistake, you must contact your instructor to ask for the opportunity to resubmit the assignment.
Assignments aren't graded automatically . Your instructor must grade each assignment and post the grade and feedback. Your instructor can create assignments for you to submit individually or as part of a group effort. You can do all of the same things with a group assignment as with a regular assignment. One member submits the group assignment for the entire group. The grade you receive is the same for all members of the group.
Group work. Instructors can create group assignments, tests, and discussions where you can collaborate with other students. Your instructors can also create course groups that are listed in the Details & Actions panel. Your instructor can enroll you in groups or ask you to join groups.
Groups usually consist of a small number of students for study groups or projects. These groups have their own collaboration areas in the course so that they can communicate and share files. Your instructor places you in a group or allows you to select the group you want to join.
After you join a group, you can move to another group until the enrollment period ends. Your instructor chooses whether to hide members of groups you can join. Members are hidden in groups where your instructor assigns membership.
To include Content Collection files in the restore, select Select Folder. Select Browse to navigate to the folder. Blackboard Learn creates a sub-folder and copies the Content Collection files into it.
