Blackboard Connect is a mass notification system that lets you send updates and emergency alerts to everyone in your community through emails, phone calls, text messages, or social media channels. Connect 5 is a mental health promotion training programme based on the latest evidence base. Evaluation has shown it increases the confidence and core skills of frontline staff so they are more effective in having conversations about mental health and wellbeing.

Fixed an application vulnerability to privilege escalation. A new user who completes their profile can escalate the privileges to gain full access to manage users, settings, etc.

Upgraded the Connect text to speech service from Microsoft Translation service to Azure Cognitive services in the backend. This does not affect the end-user experience.

Fixed an issue where a CMAM mandatory message field missed validation.
