bFree is the best tool we've tried for reading Bb7.3 archives. it reads them much better than MOODLE's default import/restore mechanism. All that's missing is a method of generating a moodle. xml manifest file from a bFree-extracted Bb archive, & the Bb > MOODLE migration path would be a thousand times what it is currently.

Unfortunately, its also missing quiz question and category exports and I don't know how well it deals with multiple resources in a single folder (or duplicately named resources for that matter).
