All students who take classes at Baruch College must have a CUNYCard ID. New students must go to the CUNYCard center to have their CUNYCard ID photo taken. Continuing students who must obtain a replacement ID should go to the CUNYCard ID center. The first CUNYCard ID you receive is complimentary.
You can administer exams to your students fully online using Blackboard. Throughout this web page, we are going to discuss the processes of creating exams, showing the student perspective of exams, and highlighting the recommended exam settings for CUNY Baruch users.
Blackboard is accessed from the www.cuny.edu menu bar and from direct access URLs on campus websites. Access to Blackboard uses your CUNY Login credentials. If you have not claimed your CUNYfirst account on https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu/, you must do so before accessing Blackboard.
There is one access point (aka SSID) for student use: Baruch-WiFi. This access point is for general access and is meant to support a wide array of devices using web browser based authentication.

To access Blackboard Learn, first make sure you are using the recommended browser, Google Chrome or Mozilla FireFox.Go to the Blackboard Learn site.Enter your username and password. Your username is your 8-digit NWTC ID number. Your password is the password that you created upon registration.
Baruch College offers wireless connectivity for use with mobile devices and is widely available across most of the campus. To access the wireless network, login authentication is used to verify affiliation with the college. Simply enable wireless on your mobile device and connect to the “Baruch” SSID.
Once you follow the instructions sent to your email and your account is created, you can access your Baruch email by visiting mymail.baruch.cuny.edu for all official Baruch business. Note that the requirement for obtaining a Baruch Username and Baruch Email address is having an active record in CUNYfirst.
My Password is a new, convenient way for Baruch students, faculty and staff to create a security profile for their Baruch Username and Network/e-mail Login account through a series of questions with answers. This is then used for security purposes if you were to forget your password for your user name.
