Who is eligible to apply for the SDSU Global Campus scholarship?

Scholarship Application Submission Period. The general application in Aztec Scholarships will be open from April 18, 2022, through August 5, 2022, for awards in the 2022-23 academic year. We offer a priority deadline of May 13, 2022, for current students and incoming students who have submitted their intent to enroll.

When do SDSU students submit their application?

To be considered for the highest number of scholarships possible, current SDSU students should submit their general application as soon as possible after the application opens in March.

How many scholarships does San Diego State have?

San Diego State has almost 700 scholarship opportunities to support our students’ educational goals. Funding for our scholarships has been provided by generous donors to SDSU who believe in higher education and your ability to achieve academic success.

What to expect after submitting a general application?

What students can expect after submitting a General Application: An email confirming receipt of the application. If selected for an award, a notification email directing them to accept the scholarship offer and complete a note of appreciation in Aztec Scholarships.

What is a scholarship committee?

Scholarship committees are typically composed of university faculty and/or staff from the academic program or campus organization most closely affiliated with the scholarship. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships’ staff members are not part of any scholarship committee.

Do Aztec scholarships have need?

Although we have a number of scholarships that are available only to students who have financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, the majority of Aztec Scholarships do not have a need component.

Can an undocumented student get an Aztec scholarship?

Undocumented students with AB540 status are also eligible. Students must enroll for the upcoming academic year in a degree, credential, or eligible certificate program to be considered for Aztec Scholarships.

Do you need to complete additional steps to apply for auto match scholarships?

Because the system automatically applies you to auto-match scholarships, you do not need to complete any additional steps for your application to be complete; therefore, your auto-match scholarships will not be visible to you.

Aztec Corner is an apartment-style community for sophomore students. Aztec Corner offers 1-2 bedroom units with double and single-occupancy rooms. The license agreement options for Aztec Corner are 9 months (academic year) or 11.5 months (through summer). This apartment is located on the west side of campus near the Sports Deck.

Fun Fact

Aztec Corner is made up of three separate buildings (Aztec Corner A, B and C). Select units include a balcony or patio.

Aztec Corner offers 1-2 bedroom units with double and single-occupancy rooms (2-4 residents per unit). Single room types are limited. Floor plans are for reference purposes only. Actual room setup varies by unit.
