Blackboard Learn is a Learning Management System (LMS) and is designed to enhance teaching and learning. Blackboard enables instructors to build and customize face2face, online and hybrid course offerings. In addition, students enrolled with Blackboard become engaged in an interactive learning environment.

An iCourse is any class that is taught fully online for students enrolled in traditional, on-campus degree programs. Starting with Spring 2015, the schedule of classes has been updated to refer to all of these courses as iCourses.
An iCourse is an internet-based course that can be taken by on-ground students only. An oCourse is an internet-based course that can only be taken by students who belong to the ASU Online Campus.
