What Is an Acceptable Use Policy? An acceptable use policy, also called an AUP, is an agreement between two or more parties that outlines the appropriate use of access to a corporate network or the internet. This document describes what users may and may not do when accessing this network.
Classified Information Processing. a. The ARNet provides UNCLASSIFIED communication to external DoD and other US Government organizations. Primarily this is done via electronic mail and Internet network protocols such as but not limited to web, ftp, and telnet.
The policy should specify whether employees may use their own devices on the company network. This includes telecommuting as well as smartphones and tablets. If employees can use personal mobile devices on the network, the AUP needs to specify what security measures are required.

To upload your AUP, click on Browse. A window will pop up and you can navigate to where you saved your AUP. Once you found it, click on it and click Open.
