Accounting for Managers

An overview for the manager/supervisor or administrative assistant responsible for making decisions using financial reports. This course will provide an understanding of what accounting information is, why it is important, and how economic decision makers can use it.

QuickBooks

Students will be shown how to establish a chart of accounts, vendor, customer, inventory, and payroll records and how to enter typical transactions, as well as, how to prepare standard financial statements using QuickBooks software. Students must take this course to proceed to OFC-344 or QuickBooks: Part 2.

Payroll Accounting

This course covers payroll preparation, payroll rules, record keeping, and payroll tax reporting. Meets concurrently with credit course ACC-1050. Textbook required.
