I know we're able to access old courses that were/are hosted on Canvas and I was told to contact that course's instructor, but they are not ASU faculty anymore. I don’t think so, unfortunately. They shut down blackboard for good sometime around last June.
Aug 30, 2017 · Access to Blackboard System would end when CUHK student account expires (last day of the month printed on CU Link card). Please also note that teachers could make their courses unavailable to students when term ends. If students would like to keep local copies of the online course materials, they are advised to do so by the end of each term.

To access your drafts, return to the forum page and set it to List View. Access the Display menu and select Drafts Only to view the saved post. Select the draft's title to open the Thread page. While you view your post, point to it to view Edit and Delete.

The instructor has not yet published the course for student view (most common reason). The student has not yet successfully registered and paid for the course. There may be an issue with the student's enrollment. The student may have a hold on his/her record.
Why can't I see my discussion post? Check if you accidentally saved your contribution as a draft. Return to the forum page, access the Display menu, and select Drafts Only. Select Search at the top of the main discussion board, forum, or thread page and search for a term you used in your message.
Select the audience for every post or change the default in Facebook's privacy settings and tools. You can select all of your friends or create a custom setting to choose or exclude specific people or lists. Don't select Public, which means anyone on the internet can see it.

Currently in Brightspace, students can delete their own threads and posts (replies to threads). However, deleted threads and posts are still viewable by instructors. This option can be toggled on or off, depending on your preference.Jun 23, 2021

Log into your Blackboard course and click on the Discussion Board link in the course menu.
You will now see a list of forums that have been created in the Course Discussion Board. Click on the name of the forum in which you would like to create a new thread.
You will now see a list of threads within the forum you selected. Check the boxes to the left of the threads you wish to view the posts for and click the Collect button at the top.
You will now see all the discussion posts in the selected threads on the screen. You can now print the page, or you can copy the threads into a Word document to archive the posts.

Blackboard Online This is the access point to Blackboard. In Blackboard you can view and participate in your classes, contact your instructors, download software provided by the University, and access the new student orientation.
A Blackboard course is automatically created for every course at USC. Each course is hidden from the students until the instructor chooses to make the course available to students. Not Available indicates the course is hidden from students, you always have access.
