Allow guest and observer access On the Control Panel, expand the Customization section and select Guest and Observer Access. On the Guest and Observer Access page, select Yes for Allow Guests and Allow Observers.
What can a Guest access? Users enrolled as 'Guest' in a Blackboard course have very limited access to the course. Course Builder. The Course Builder role has access to most areas of the course. This role is appropriate for an assistant who shouldn't have access to student grades. If the course is unavailable to students, a course builder can still access the course. The course builder can't remove an instructor from a course.
On the Courses page, open the course's menu and select Enrollments. On the Enrollments page, open the username's menu and select Edit. On the Edit Enrollments page, select a new role from the Role menu. The role selected applies to this course only.
Select the “Attendees” Icon from the Collaborate Panel to view the all of the participants in the session. Attendees have microphone and camera settings in the same location as your own (at the bottom of the screen).

The course room is an open Collaborate session dedicated to the course. You can join this session any time. Select the session name and Join Course Room to join the session. This generates a unique link to help the session identify you.
